North Norfolk Coastal Path – Cromer to Weybourne (8 miles)

Lisa kindly allowed us to drop off the bags at the cottage early, so we were able to drive into Cromer and make a start on the walk. Parked up a side street and took an easy walk downhill to the pier where the walk starts. After the obligatory photos, walked uphill for half a mile back to the car! (still at least we started in the right place).
The section from Cromer to Sheringham is inland (so why call it a ‘coastal path’?), but very pleasant walking down country footpaths. Beeston Bump provided about the only height rise – a bit different from the coastal paths in Devon and Cornwall! Still a good view from the top before descending into Sheringham.
Tempting to stop at this point, but on the theory of every mile walked today is one less to do tomorrrow, continued on a further 3 miles to Weybourne.
Then used the amazing CoastHopper bus service to get back to Sheringham.
