Hi all,
It seemed to be a good time to restart a Pastor’s blog providing, hopefully, some comment on life as we persevere through these times. I’m not promising to add something every day, but hopefully at least several times a week.
For today, let’s simply recognise and thank God for the blessings of 21st century technologies in the home that are being of such a great help to so many at this time. How much more alone those who are self-isolating would feel without a phone, and those who have internet, if it were suddenly removed or failed – no Skype, no Facetime, no WhatsApp, Facebook, Websites, Podcasts etc. We would certainly be more protected from some evil content, but we would surely miss so much that is good and helps us to keep in better contact one with another.
And what of all those who are now able to work at home solely because of these technologies? They would still have to go into work or stay home with nothing to do and in many cases no income.
So let us thank God and seek to use them well and in a way that glorifies Him, and pray that He “keeps us from evil” as we use them.
