Guide book to the Peddlars Way and Norfolk Coast Path arrived today – looks like a great book (provided that the info in it proves to be correct!), in fact if I hadn’t already purchased the maps for the walk I wouldn’t now bother as the book has strips of the 1:25000 Explorer OS maps that relate to the walk reproduced in it.
Checked weather forecast for the coast (only Mon and Tues so far available) – looks like the prevailing wind is S to SW so it looks like we’ll start at Cromer and travel N and E (also looks like there’s going to be some rain! Still walking in the rain is fine provided you get some dry spells!).
Checked tidal predictions and as always where you’d much prefer low tide to be you find high tide! Still, there should still be large areas uncovered for birdlife.
